1. Policy Statement

Modern slavery including forced labour, servitude, and human trafficking is a serious crime and breach of fundamental human rights. We adopt a zero tolerance approach and are committed to conducting our operations ethically and transparently.

2. Our Values & Purpose

  • We enforce effective systems and controls to ensure modern slavery does not occur in our operations or supply chains.
  • We maintain transparency in how we address modern slavery, in line with the UK Modern Slavery Act 2015.

3. Recruitment & Employment

  • We conduct Right-to-Work checks for all UK-based staff to prevent forced or trafficked labour.
  • We enforce equal opportunity, grievance, disciplinary, and whistleblowing policies ensuring concerns can be raised fearlessly. Employees must report suspected breaches immediately.

4. Our Supply Chain

  • We expect suppliers, contractors, and partners to adhere to our anti-slavery standards, including prohibitions against forced or child labour.
  • Suppliers are required to pass these expectations downstream. Non-compliance may lead to contract termination.

5. Governance & Responsibility

  • The Board of Directors oversees compliance with our legal and ethical obligations.
  • A dedicated Compliance Manager handles policy implementation, monitoring, incident reporting, and supplier audits.

6. Employee Awareness & Training

  • We provide induction and ongoing training to all staff on slavery, forced labour risks, and our whistleblowing procedures.

7. Risk Assessment & Future Actions

  • We routinely assess modern slavery risks within logistics, warehousing, and subcontracted services.
  • We plan to expand supplier due diligence, implement supplier questionnaires, and train high-risk supplier groups.

8. Reporting & Remediation

  • Employees and stakeholders can report concerns by contacting their manager or the Compliance Manager immediately.
  • All complaints are logged, investigated, and acted upon resulting in corrective or contractual action where necessary.

9. Monitoring & Effectiveness

  • We track key performance indicators (e.g. training completion, supplier risk audits) to assess policy impact.
  • Policies and procedures are reviewed at least annually or whenever legislation is updated.

This statement is made in accordance with section 54(1) of the Modern Slavery Act 2015, and will be reviewed and updated as appropriate.
